County Slo-Pitch Softball Leagues Now Forming

Editor's Note: The following information is a press release from the Middlesex County Office of Economic and Business Development.

Teams are being sought for the Middlesex County Parks and Recreation Office’s Fall Slo-Pitch Softball Leagues. All leagues begin play in late August.

Applications and payment are due by Aug. 3 and are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Final team rosters are due no later than Sept. 7.

There will be four separate leagues.

The Men’s Monday/Wednesday League games start at 6:30 p.m. Games are played at Thomas A. Edison Park in Edison and Warren Park in Woodbridge.

The entrance fee is $325, with an additional $100 refundable forfeit fee. Umpire fees are $22 per team, per game.

The Men’s Tuesday League games start at 6:30 p.m. Games are played at Thomas A. Edison Park in Edison and Warren Park in Woodbridge.

The entrance fee is $325, with an additional $100 refundable forfeit fee. Umpire fees are $22 per team, per game.

The Co-Ed Softball League games start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Games are played at Thomas A. Edison Park in Edison and Warren Park in Woodbridge.

The Sunday Morning Ladies League games start at 10:30 a.m. Games are played at Warren Park in Woodbridge.

The entrance fee is $175, with an additional $100 refundable forfeit fee. Umpire fees are $22 per team, per game.
