Basic Chinese Language Class

From greetings to ordering food, the New Brunswick Free Public Library is inviting the public to come and learn simple Chinese in a fun way.

Learning to speak Chinese is actually simpler than many people imagined. Unlike most Indo-European language such as English or Spanish, Chinese verbs do not conjugate, and there is no past or present tense! Very soon, you can impress the staff at a Chinese restaurant by speaking to them in Chinese.

The classes will be held on Wednesday July 11 and July 18, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Participants who are interested should come to both dates to ensure continuity of class materials.
