Free Income Tax Filing Assistance

Low- to moderate-income taxpayers can receive free help filing their returns at the library. Volunteers from Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting and Finance Honors Society at Rutgers, will help taxpayers file online, by appointment only. The appointments will be on most Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and most Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., ending on Saturday April 14. (Click here for a PDF of the list of all dates and times.) The service is sponsored by VITA, the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

For an appointment, please call the library at 732-745-5108, ext. 25, or stop by the library's Main Desk.
For further information about the assistance appointments at the library, please contact Mrs. Crowe-Logan, Senior Librarian, at 732-745-5108 x20 or joye@lmxac.org.
