Gentle Clarity: A Buddhist Approach to Meditation

Voices of September 11th will present the first workshop in its 2012 Speaker Series. In this workshop, participants will learn a basic style of Buddhist meditation (no beliefs required!), consider how meditation can bring new perspective, and contemplate ways to bring greater wisdom, skill and kindness into our lives.

The session, facilitated by Beverly Sanford of the Princeton Buddhist Meditation Group, will include both initial meditation instruction and a brief introduction to practices that cultivate kindness and openness.

Beverly has been studying and practicing Buddhism for over a decade. She has been ordained to teach in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism by Anam Thubten Rinpoche, and is associate teacher with the Princeton Buddhist Meditation.

Space is limited. Please RSVP to Sheri Burkat at 732-543-2300 or email: sburkat@voicesofsept11.org.
