The New Brunswick Free Public Library will host Tim Block of Legal Services of New Jersey (http://www.lsnj.org/) for an information session about their services, who can qualify for representation, and how to apply for help.
The session will be primarily in Spanish. Legal Services of NJ provides legal aid services for people who are unable to obtain the services of a lawyer for financial reasons. In order to ensure the fairness of the legal system, LSNJ focuses upon meeting basic needs of individuals whose lack of access to adequate legal representation contributes to recurring problems and community distress in our most vulnerable populations.
