This will be a panel discussion led by photographers Greg Ritter, owner of George Street Camera, Jack Howard , author and photographer, and Augusto F. Menezes, "Home News Tribune" staff photographer.
The New Brunswick Free Public Library will present its Fifth Annual Photography Contest accompanied by free photography programs featuring local professional photographers.
The theme is “New Brunswick in Motion” and photographs must show some type of activity or action. Submitted photos must be taken between March 1 and May 3.

Professional photographers and library staff will judge submissions. Photographs entered in the contest will be displayed in an exhibition at the Heldrich Hotel and at the New Brunswick Free Public Library. On June 8 at 6 p.m. there will be a reception in the library’s Carl T. Valenti Community Room where the winners will be announced.
Two other programs will accompany the contest. “Getting to know your Digital Camera” will be led by photographer and author Walter Choroszewski on April 18 at 6 p.m.
On May 2 at 6 p.m. there will be a third photo workshop “Tips for Taking Better Travel Photos” led by Andrew Darlow.
