mHealthcon Mobile Conference

Do a deep dive into mobile healthcare at mHealthcon Mobile Health Conference Thursday Dec. 1. hosted by Rutgers University. It is one of New York and New Jersey’s first conference focused exclusively on the surging market in wireless healthcare. According to analysts, mHealth is
expected to become a $23 billion market by 2015 with over 500 million doctors,patients and consumers tapping apps, applications and devices to help diagnose disease, manage healthcare, fitness and exercise. The pharma alley conference is hosted by Rutgers University Office of Research and Economic Development.

According to partner Steven Greene, “The conference will offer pharmaceutical executives, hospital management, researchers, investors, startups, health providers and clinicians market-driven insights into this burgeoning ecosystem right in the heart of pharma alley.”

The conference will include exhibits, two keynotes, four workshops, panels of startup founders and mhealth investors, a demo lab and complimentary breakfast and lunch. Confirmed speakers include: Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Tom Wheeler, Chairman of The mHealth Alliance Partnership, Jayant Parthasarathy, Director of Innovation and R&D, Mobile United Healthcare Group IT, Sonny Vu, Agamatrix,  Richy Glassberg, COO, MedHelp,; Ryan Sysko, CEO, WellDoc; Dr. Gopal Chopra, CEO, pingmd;
Serge Loncar, CEO, CareSpeak; and Al Shar, VP, Technology, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Other major speakers will be announced shortly including leaders of
the pharmaceutical investment communities. The December 1st conference will be held at The Rutgers Center 126 College Avenue in New Brunswick, in the heart of pharma alley and steps from the New Brunswick NJ Transit Station.
