Photography Workshop at the New Brunswick Library

Come to the library and learn from Andrew Darlow, photographer, award-winning author and consultant:

  • How to get your printed photos to match your screen: whether you make them yourself or whether you bring them to a lab (demonstration of a step-by-step workflow for home printers or labs)
  • How to determine the correct printing resolution and settings for different papers
  • How to choose the right paper for your images
  • How to prepare your images for your photo lab
  • The importance of lighting for proofing (including how to find quality, affordable lights and how to use them properly).

Sample prints will be displayed and discussed, and each participant will also receive a handout with resources and suggested materials.

In the Carl T. Valenti Community Room.

To attend this program, please register at the library’s Reference Desk, or call 732-745-5108, ext. 20. Enter the Photography Contest. Click here for a submission form with full details.
