Hoverboards Banned at Rutgers
If you have a hoverboard, don't bring it to Rutgers, school officials say.

New Brunswick, NJ - If you have a hoverboard, don’t bring it to any Rutgers campus.
Rutgers University has decided to temporarily ban hoverboards, William Scott, Rutgers University’s chief of emergency services, announced Thursday. Kean University already decided to ban the fire-causing devices, with their fire safety director calling the decision ”a no brainer.”
If you own a hoverboard, please do not bring the devices to any RU campus, Rutgers says. Effective immediately, hoverboards are not permitted to be operated, charged or stored on campus or in any Rutgers-owned building.
