When did you open?: 1989

How did you get into the business?: While attending Rutgers University, Albert decided that his passion was graphic design. He started Laserwave with his brother Dan Hakim in New Brunswick shortly after graduating. Albert and Dan have turned their passion for printing, design, and photography into a global business. Laserwave still resides in New Brunswick where they have an in-house photo studio, staff of photographers, and graphic design team. Laserwave also has global print production capabilities with several overseas partners.

What do you do that separates you from your competition?: With 20 years experience, Laserwave's team loves sharing what we've learned about design, photography, and overseas printing. Our passion is helping customers solve their print production and design problems in creative, cost-effective ways.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself: Our business is a New Brunswick native. Albert attended Rutgers and began Laserwave after college. The company has remained in New Brunswick throughout the years, and about four years ago, we purchased our current building and renovated it completely. We're loyal Rutgers fans and are excited about all the changes that have been taking place in New Brunswick recently.
