New Brunswick Schools Welcome Two New Interim Principals

The Board of Education announced new interim principals for the Adult Learning Center and New Brunswick High School.

Two interim principals were announced at the New Brunswick Board of Education meeting last Thursday.

Marlene I. Lederman replaces Scott C. Bollwage as the interim principal at the Adult Learning Center. Bollwage retired after working in the district almost 15 years.

Bollwage previously replaced Lederman, who retired as principal of the Adult Learning Center in July, 2009. Lederman had served the city’s school system for more than 28 years.

Former Principal James D. Christman of New Brunswick High School is replaced by Janene M. Howard Rodriguez as interim principal. Christman retired after serving as principal of the high school for about 3 years.

Rodriguez most recently served as vice principal at New Brunswick High, beginning in August, 2010. Prior to serving the city of New Brunswick, Rodriguez served as vice principal at Piscataway High School.

The appointments are effective through December 21, 2012.
