Promise Culinary School Announces March 12 Open House

Spots are still available in the culinary arts and baking and pastry arts courses.

The Promise Culinary School at Elijah's Promise has announced that seats are still open for its 19-week culinary arts and 24-week baking and pastry arts courses.

An open house has been scheduled from 5-6 p.m. March 12 to provide more information on the programs. Registration is not required to attend.

The Culinary Arts program will begin March 25, with classes held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Both courses are certified by the NJ State Department of Education, and include two-week externships in professional kitchens, according to Elijah's Promise.

Tuition can be accommodated on a sliding scale payment plan, depending on the student. It includes uniforms, textbooks and all class materials, according to Elijah's Promise.

The Promise Culinary School is located at 211 Livingston Ave.
