Rutgers Board of Governors To Hold Emergency Meeting

The Rutgers Board of Governors will meet Friday, then immediately go into closed session, according to meeting notice.
NJ.com describes the session as a rare emergency meeting and the panel plans to “discuss athletic matters and anticipated or pending litigation.”
Seven students, including five football players, were among those arrested last week.

School officials are also investigating an email reportedly sent last month by Rutgers football coach, Kyle Flood, to a professor about the status of one of those players, NJ.com has reported.
University officials did not immediately respond to further questions about Friday’s meeting, NJ.com said.
