Authorities: New Milford resident Ryan Dempsey engaged in 'sexually explicit chats' with minors online

Dempsey, 25, allegedly engaged in 'sexually explicit chats and activity' with a minor from Louisiana, Bergen County prosecutor said.

A New Milford man was charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile after he allegedly engaged in “sexually explicit chats and activity” with a minor in Louisiana, authorities said.

Ryan Dempsey, 24, was also charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child Monday, said Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli.

Louisiana State Police initiated the investigation into Dempsey’s online activities. The investigation revealed that Dempsey was engaging in sexually explicitly chats and activity with a minor in Louisiana, Molinelli said.
