Two of the servers scheduled to be replaced, one located at the Berkley Street School and the other at the B.F. Gibbs School, are approaching 10 years of use.
Then starting in September all high school and middle school students will be given their own user name, password and email addresses.

Michael Sawicz, the district’s business administrator said everything that is happening in the way of technological updates during this school year and the next are taking place, “within the confines of the budget and the technology plan.”
“We are getting savings and the moving the district forward,” Sawicz said.
Sawicz also said it was very gratifying to see things moving forward.
Watson ended the overview by saying the technological updates being made are possible “because we have fiber optics throughout the town.”
