The last time I met with the Board of Health they told me they would not change the ordinance prohibiting chickens for just one person. They also expressed concerns that too many people would want to do it if they changed the ordinance.
Based on the preceding, I am looking for 9 New Milford residents to sign a letter stating they want to raise chickens in thier backyards and would like the current ordinance changed. I will send the letter(s) to the BOH, Borough Administrator, New Milford Patch, and Twin Boro News. I am asking for nine families because I figure including me, ten is a good number. If I get more, even better.
