As many of you know, I was recently fined a total of $539 and given until March 20 to remove my chickens from my home. I would like to make a few things clear. I have no beef with the judge who handed down the fine. He was only doing his job of upholding the law and I was undeniably in violation of the ordinance. I do think the prosecutor was very unprofessional and intimidating but from what I witnessed, that is his MO. I am not mad at the Board of Health or Health Department. They received a complaint and they acted on it as it is their responsibility to do. I am mad at my neighbor who complained and didn't have the b***s to confront me in person or admit it when I confronted them. I have been encouraging my supporters to contact the BOH to let them know how you feel about this issue but I do not want you to attack them. Negativity will not get us anything.
