The eighth straight victory was not easy for the New Milford Lady Knights softball team, but they found a way to reach wins for the season. The Lady Knights pushed a run across in the first inning and then played tight defense before tacking on 3 late runs to win- . Centerfielder Angela Coughlin's dart from CF negated a single for Ridgefield and minimized the damage to one run in the 6th. The offense was led by Danielle Schuler's double and Erin Bigger's two bunt singles. Ashley Lignos drove in a run and the Lady Knights held on for a 4-1 triumph. The girls ready themselves for a big week with games at Leonia and Park Ridge.
