Mary Higgins Clark and BooksNJ

Come and join me at BooksNJ, Sunday June 12th from 1pm to 5pm at the Paramus Public Library where I will have the honor of presenting the first  BCCLS Lifetime Acheivement Award to Mary Higgins Clark.

Mary Higgins Clark is a world renowned author who lives right here in Bergen County.   She has written over 30 books plus 5 books with her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark, who will also be speaking at BooksNJ.    

Over 100 million copies of Mary Higgins Clark's books have sold in the US alone.  And close to 170,000 people have borrowed her books from BCCLS  libraries.   Her latest book, "I'll Walk Alone," has almost 200 people waiting  to borrow it from our libraries despite the 171 copies in the system.  

BooksNJ has something for every reader.  Over 100 authors will be speaking about their works.   For younger readers Storytelling will be going on all day as well. It promises to be a great day for everyone who loves books.
