New Milford and Dumont high schools will start another new program together next year. A swim team has been in the works for a few months and it has finally come to realization. With so many student athletes interested in swimming in both towns and parental backing, a New Milford-Dumont coop will be added to the mix for the bordering towns. This is the second partnership involving the schools piggybacking ice hockey. The only difference is that swimming will be under the New Milford banner. Ice Hockey has been managed by Nic Nese, the athletic director at Dumont High School. There will be a second meeting on June 15th at New Milford High School in Room 202.
