New Milford Baseball and Softball Remain on Hot Streak!

The New Milford Lady Knights softball team won their 7th straight with a 9-3 triumph over Wallington in an NJIC independent game.  Sophomore centerfielder Angela Coughlin led the attack with three hits.  Senior rightfielder Deanne Millo had three RBIs and freshman shortstop Carly Lesko added an RBI triple.  Junior righthander Mackenzie Holowach picked up her 12th win of the year on the mound.  The Lady Knights host league rival Ridgefield today at 4pm.

The New Milford baseball team pounded out 22 hits en route to a 12-8 victory over league rival Park Ridge on Thursday.  Senior leftfielder Shane Doherty led the offense with four RBIs.  Brendan Baum and Peter Martin added two RBIs each for the Knights.  Baum picked up his second win of the year on the mound.  The Knights travel to Ridgefield High School tonight in a primetime matchup at 7pm. 

The boys tennis competed in the NJSIAA state tournament yesterday losing a tough match to Mountain Lakes High School.  The team travels to Demarest tomorrow to compete in the Bergen County tournament.
