New Milford Girl Scouts Earn Their Wings

At the flying up ceremony of New Milford Brownie Girl Scout Troop 4163 the young ladies earned their wings and became Junior Girl Scouts.

The Komninos Family were their special guests. Zoey Komninos, who has celebral palsy has been Troop 4163's reason for hosting Zumba classes. As a result of the hard work these girls accomplished, Zumba for Zoey was a great success.

Troop 4163 raised funds to help purchase items for Zoey's therapy room. Things like a therapuetic yogibo bean bag, an excerise mat, and a large work out ball.

Zoey was welcomed in a special friendship circle as an honorary member of their troop. Her investiture, along with the bridging of our third grade Brownies was most emotional.

Troop 4163 "Made New Friends" with New Milford Junior Girl Scout Troop 60048 who assisted in their flying up.
