Freshman Jamie Ashman picked up her 3rd win of the year as the New Milford Lady Knights continued their offensive surge with a 16-5 triumph over Palisades Park. Angela Coughlin, Erin Bigger, Meredith Farley and Ashman each drove in 2 runs. Carly Lesko added 3 more RBIs to pace the home team.
The New Milford baseball team squeaked out a 5-4 victory over Palisades Park on Tuesday. Peter Martin did the job on the mound to pick up his 2nd win of the year. Connor Swanson closed the game pitching the 7th inning. Shane Doherty led the offense with 2 RBIs.
In the NJIC Patriot Track Championships, both the boys and girls finished second overall. Brandon Matulac (110 HH), Cody Carlson (400 IH and Pole Vault) and Dante Tobler (Triple Jump) each won their respective events for the boys. Khadijah Cox won three events (100 M, 200 M and 400 M). Jada Toote won the 400 M and Vanessa Vargas took the Javelin competition.
