New Milford Softball had a great summer of excitement and achievement. The U14 team won the regular season championship with a 13-2 record. They then completed their run in the playoffs with a 19-3 victory over Wayne, a 19-1 semifinal win over Passaic and then an 8-4 come from behind triumph over Bloomfield. The U10 girls finished the regular season with a 13-0-1 record and then lost in the playoff final to Dumont 6-2. The U12 girls, seeded 8th, upset the number one seed Hasbrouck Heights and reached the finals of the playoffs before losing to Ridgefield 7-2. It was the first time all three teams reached the finals of the playoffs. It was a tremendous season for New Milford Ugals.
