The New Milford/Dumont Swim Team knew they were good, but as a new program time was needed to succeed or so they thought. On Saturday, the girls finished first to capture the league championship meet in Lyndhurst. It was an exciting day as they girls bested Rutherford by one point. It came down to the last event and Jenarsy Pena was up to the task finishing off the final relay to clinch the victory. The boys finished third in the meet, a great accomplishment with only six swimmers. The future looks bright for the young program with high expectations for next season.
