Fresh off their upset of neighboring Dumont, the Lady Knights were looking to play the role of spoiler again when they faced Pascack Hills in the second round of the Bergen County Girls Basketball Tournament.
Sam DeFreese got off to a fast start, as New Milford kept it close, but in the end Pascack Hills was just too much to handle, and they defeated the Lady Knights 50-35.
The team fought hard the entire way. They will get another chance to make some noise in a tournament when they play in the North I Group II Tournament later this month.
