Local Residents Earn Honors at Several Universities

Borough residents attending college in-state and out-of-state were recently honored for their academic excellence by being named to the dean's list.

Ramapo College honored several borough residents for their hard work by placing them on the dean's list for the spring semester: 

• Julianne Planillo
• Colby Podesta
• Brian Turner
• Adrian Tiongson
• Danielle Ruberto

The University of Delaware named Ilana Schlesinger to the dean's list for the spring semester.

East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania named New Milford resident Phillip Doherty to the dean's list for the spring semester. 

Montclair State University named Alexis Lignos to the dean's list for both the spring 2010 and spring 2011 semesters.

The following residents graduated from their colleges with high honors this spring:
