Longtime Veteran Volunteer at New Milford Fire Department Passes

A long-time veteran of the New Milford Volunteer Fire Department has passed away, according to the department’s website.

Ray Wolfle had been an active member of the department for 50 years, the site says.

Wolfle, 73, passed away on Saturday.

His funeral service will be Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Boulevard Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Ascension Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the B-Cell Lymphoma Foundation.
