Man, 89, Fails To Stop, Injures 3 In New Milford Crash: Police
The man failed to stop at a stop sign at Graphic Boulevard and Boulevard, police said.
NEW MILFORD, NJ — Three people had to be extracted from a van after an 89-year-old man ran a stop sign and crashed into it Monday morning, police said.
Police responded to the crash at Boulevard and Graphic Boulevard just before 11 a.m., Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said.
A GMC work van rolled over and three people were trapped inside, Van Saders said.

The New Milford Fire Department responded and extricated three men, ages, 68, 28, and 53, from the van. An ambulance took them to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, Van Saders said.
The driver of the other vehicle, an 89-year-old man from Tenafly, was taken to Englewood Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, the lieutenant said.

Police said the 89-year-old man did not stop at the stop sign at Graphic Boulevard and hit the work van, which was traveling on Boulevard.
Summonses are pending, Van Saders said.
