Fatima Alba was selected out of more than 24,000 people to receive the honor.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — A New Milford McDonald’s employee was named crew person of the year out of more than 24,000 potential candidates from the New York Metro region.
Fitima Alba immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic in 1993. She has worked for Linda Dunham and Brian Hairston, a mother and son who own six McDonald’s restaurants. Alba works at the Bergenfield restaurant.
“Our customers all know and love Fatima for her smile and enthusiasm” Dunham said. “We are extremely proud of her and could not be happier for her to be recognized as crew person of the year as she truly embodies the sprit of the award.”
