New Milford Volunteer Fire Department Company 2 recently sent a care package overseas to the Marines Second Medical Battalion, Second Marine Division. Department members found out that J.J. Tufaro, son of Assistant Chief James Tufaro, was being deployed overseas. They decided to do something to give back to the troops especially since one member of the armed forces had such close ties to NMFD Company 2. JJ Tufaro is a Navy paramedic with the Second Medical Battalion, Second Marine Division of the Marine Corps currently deployed to the Middle East.
