NMHS 50th Anniversary Celebration
River Road will be closed in front of the high school from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The New Milford High School 50th Anniversary of its first graduating class takes place Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- Carnival 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- 50th Anniversary Ceremony and Celebration from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
- Welcome Speech by Eric Sheninger
- Superintendent Remarks by Michael Polizzi
- Patriotic Songs
- Star Spangled Banner sung by renown opera singer Franco Spoto
- America the Beautiful sung by NMHS students directed by Frank Viola (1965)
- God Bless America sung by all alumni
- Dance Performance
- Voice from the 60’s: Dan Shockloss
- Voice from the 70’s: Jim Kurpick
- Voice from the 80’s: Janine Nowatzky
- Voice from the 90’s: Patty Bernardo
- Voice from the 00’s: Alex Diaz
- Voice from the 10’s: Jeff Fiscina
- Alumni BBQ with entertainment provided by Nick at Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
