Police Searching For Missing Bergen Woman With Special Needs

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — State Police are seeking the public's help with finding a missing Dumont woman with special needs.

The State Police Missing Persons Unit and the Dumont Police Department are trying to locate Samantha McManus, 27, who was last seen at her Dumont home Monday at 9:30 p.m., State Police said in a Facebook post.

Authorities said McManus, who is mentally disabled and walks with a distinct limp, may be in the New York City area, police said.

McManus is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding McManus' location is asked to call the Dumont Police Department at 201-387-5000.
