Where Did You Go on Vacation This Summer?

We here at Patch cannot believe the summer of 2011 is nearly over. It just seems to have gone by too quickly. 

But rather than be sad about having only a few weeks left of the summer, we decided it would be fun to find out where borough residents spent their leisure time this summer. Did you plan a "staycation" that was close to home but tons of fun for the kids? Did you head "Down the Shore" and if so, which beach was your favorite? Or did you head out on an adventure and explore a foreign country or another state?
