Whiz Kids: D.E.O. Middle School's Stars of the Geography and Spelling Bees

Patch Whiz Kids of the Week: Sohum Sanghvi, Geography Bee First Place Winner and Stephen Pale, Finalist in the North Jersey Spelling Bee

Accomplishment: Sanghvi returned for the second year in a row to the Geo Bee and emerged with first place this year while Pale made it to the final 26 in the spelling bee, beating out students from 130 other schools in Bergen, Passaic, Essex & Morris Counties.

Whiz Kids' Keys to Awesomeness: The New Milford Board of Education honored both boys, who attend David E. Owens Middle School, for their amazing accomplishments at their March 21 meeting.
