Berkeley Heights Local Among 3 Arrested For Shoplifting

A total of more than $3,500 worth of merchandise was either reported stolen or shoplifted from Bridgewater businesses and homes.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Berkeley Heights local was among three people arrested for shoplifting from Bridgewater businesses, according to the police blotter.

Connie Lee, 44, of Berkeley Heights was arrested on Jan. 10 for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $114 from Sephora at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, Bridgewater Police report.

Lee was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On Jan. 6: Justin Siroky, 26, of Columbia was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $689 from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Siroky was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and was released with a pending court appearance.

On Jan. 8: Jennifer Ferranti, 34, of Somerville was arrested for shoplifting merchandise with a combined approximate value of $1,599 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Ferranti was processed for the arrest, served with a complaint summons for shoplifting and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

On Jan. 9: A resident of Brahma Avenue reported a theft. A package was delivered to her residence on Jan. 9 at 5:33 p.m. that contained merchandise with a combined value of $17. Unknown actor(s) cut open the package, and removed the items prior to her being able to retrieve it.

On Jan. 9: An employee of New Century Millwork reported a theft. In the overnight hours, unknown actors stole three saws valued at $1,200, which were being stored at 1271 US Highway 22 West.
