
FANFEST: To entertain the thousands of college hoop fans, a festival of free activities will take place in Championship Plaza next to the Prudential Center with a variety of family-oriented, basketball-themed and entertainment activities beginning Thursday, March 24, from 5:00-9:00 PM and continuing on Friday, March 25 from 3:00 – 10:00 PM, Saturday, March 26 from 12:00 – 6:00 PM, and Sunday, March 27, from 12-7:00 PM. FanFest will include live musical performances, guest DJs, interactive basketball games, agility and skills challenges, Pop-A-Shot, coaching sessions, face painting, temporary tattoos, a Beer Garden, local food vendors, NCAA® merchandise, “Made in Newark” merchandise and more.
