First New Year's Baby at Overlook Medical Center
Overlook Medical Center's first baby of the New Year
He was not meant to arrive until two weeks hence, but Jeremiah Sadeeq Williams expedited his arrival to 4:49 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Baby Jeremiah Sadeeq Williams was the first baby to be born at Overlook Medical Center in 2012.
“It’s exciting,” mother Taisha Edwin said. “We are surprised that he came on the first.”

His due date was January 12.
Now that he is a New Year’s baby “we're looking forward to seeing how that is going to turn out,” Edwin said.

Jeremiah Sadeeq Williams is Edwin’s first son for and her second child. She also has an eight year old daughter.
“He is healthy, happy and mello,” Edwin said. “He is a little cutie-tutti."
The healthy baby Jeremiah Sadeeq Williams — with dark curly hair, brown eyes and round cheeks — weighed in at 5 pounds 15 ounces and measured 18 3/4”.
