Highlanders Boys Basketball Opens Season Tonight
We take a look at some of the key returning players for the 2011-12 HIghlanders varsity boys basketball squad.

The Highlanders open the 2011-12 season tonight and look to build off of a successful 2010-11 campaign. Governor Livingston dropped a close and memorable match up to Raritan in the sectional finals last season and hope to get over the hump this year.
This year's version of Highlander basketball combines an experienced backcourt with an inexperienced front court. Leading the way are a pair of guards, 6’2 senior Logan Kelley and 6’0 junior Reid Harrison at the point guard position. Kelley looks to build on his 21 points per game average from 2010-11.

Another player who returns for the Highlanders is Rendyll Moorman, a 6’4’’’ senior forward who brings athleticisim to the front court.
The Highlanders must fill the void left at the center position by 6’9 Kevin Ferguson who now plays at Army. The team will look to 6’5 junior Cameron DeFronzo and 6’6 freshman Rob Imbalzano to claim some of those minutes.
