"These signs are in place to increase overall safety in and around our schools by lowering vehicles speeds to increase reaction time for ever changing conditions," Berkeley Heights Police posted on Facebook. "These particular signs also have an integrated radar display that gives real time speed to drivers as they enter the reduced speed school zones."

The Berkeley Heights Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for these acts of criminial mischief. Any and all information is appreciated.
