The unofficial results are in and the democrats won out in Berkeley Heights while republicans won in New Providence.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS/NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — The unofficial results are in and the democrats have taken the win in Berkeley Heights. While republicans took the win in New Providence. See the full vote count below, according to the unofficial results reported by Union County.

Berkeley Heights Township Mayor And Council:

Democrat Angie Devanney triumphed over Republican Robert Woodruff for the four-year mayoral seat.

Democrats Stephen H. Yellin and Alvaro Medeiros won over Republicans Michael D'Aquila and Michelle Greco for the two three-year township council seats.

New Providence:

The mayoral race was uncontested in New Providence with Republican Allen Morgan winning unopposed.

Republicans Matthew E. Cumiskey and Peter C. DeSarno won over Democrats Rupa Kale and John FX Keane for the two three-year seats.

Berkeley Heights School Board:

Doug Reinstein, Christine Reilly won over Gentiana Brahimaj for the two three-year seats open on the school board.

New Providence School Board:

Robert S. Dinerman, Rebecca P. Coniglio, Adam Smith all won over William H. Dibble for three the three-year seats on the board.
