OAKLAND, N.J. — More than $10,000 has been donated to fund the creation of a dog park at Great Oak Park.

A grassroots group of residents has been trying to raise money to build a dog park in the borough since 2009.

The group would like a dog park similar to the ones in Ridgewood and in Bloomfield at Brookdale Park.
