2 Jersey Shore Towns Among The Best In The US For Christmas
Travel magazine Travel and Leisure named these two shore towns as some of the best in the country to visit at Christmastime.

JERSEY SHORE, NJ — Winter is secretly the best time to visit the Jersey Shore.
For one, there are fewer crowds than in the summer. Sure, it's cold, but it's so peaceful. And seeing Christmas lights and decorations throughout the many towns only add to the beauty.
Though there are many great towns to visit this time of year, all with their own unique traditions, two of them are some of the best in the entire country, according to a new report.

Travel magazine Travel and Leisure recently released a list of the "25 Best Christmas Towns in the USA to Spend the Holiday Season." And two of those towns are right here.
So, what are they? Cape May, of course, and somewhat surprisingly, Atlantic City too.

Cape May's charming, Victorian architecture make it an easy pick for Christmas. "The walkable Washington Street Mall gets draped in greenery and festive lights," Travel and Leisure wrote.
The report suggests visiting the Original Fudge Kitchen for tasty treats and taking your kids to Congress Hall for holiday festivities.
"A casino and boardwalk don't exactly conjure images of plum puddings and carolers, yet travelers appreciate Atlantic City's wild weekend spirit and vivid people-watching around the holidays," the report said.
Not a typical choice, sure, but Atlantic City is ramping up their holiday game this year - they just lit their first-ever live Christmas tree on the Boardwalk. Watch video of it here.
With other great towns like Aspen, Colorado and Nantucket, Massachusetts as some of the 25, it's great that the shore was represented twice on this list.
