Bob Barr to Run for Fourth Ward Council Seat in Ocean City

The deadline to file to run in the May 10 elections is Monday.

Ocean City, NJ -- Ocean Democratic Club President Bob Barr is running for the Fourth Ward Council seat in the upcoming election on Thursday.

“I am excited to let all my friends know that I am running for the Fourth Ward Ocean City Council seat,” Barr said in a Facebook post on Thursday. “If you live in the Fourth Ward, I want you to know that I am here in Ocean City fighting for fiscal responsibility, working hard to secure capital improvements to help with our flooding and roads, as well as making sure our beautiful beaches are on a replenishment schedule. I will fight for development that makes sense based on our neighborhoods and encourages single family homes! Please join my campaign.”

Peter Guinosso currently represents the Fourth Ward on City Council, but has decided not to run for re-election.
