MS City To Shore Bike Ride Returns To Ocean City This Month

7,000 cyclists will raise $5.6 million for those suffering from MS.

Ocean City, NJ -- The Bike MS: City To Shore Ride returns to Ocean City with 7,000 cyclists riding to raise $5.6 million for those suffering from MS.

The ride begins on Sept. 24 in Philadelphia, and is scheduled to conclude in Ocean City on Sept. 25.

Through a special program called “I Ride with MS”, sponsored by Genzyme and MS One to One, those cyclists who are living with MS will be provided with special recognition during the ride.

This event offers several route options through the quaint towns and back roads of Southern New Jersey, ranging from 25 to 175 miles over two days.

The ride is fully supported with catered rest stops, bike support and SAG transportation.

“The sense of accomplishment that you feel crossing the finish line can only be matched by the difference you’ll be making in the lives of people affected by MS,” organizers said in a statement released through the city.

The ride was founded by TV Anchor Larry Kane whose mother was afflicted with MS.
