Shore Medical Center reported last week that one of its patients tested positive for the virus, and they expected a second patient to do the same. The hospital has banned almost all visitors as a precaution.

Several people and businesses, meanwhile, have stepped up to donate funds, personal protective equipment and food for staff.

Ten people in Cape May County and 24 in Atlantic County have tested positive for the virus as of Sunday afternoon.
