Walk For The Wounded Returns To Ocean City In Two Weeks

It is a three-mile walk on the Boardwalk to raise money for wounded soldiers returning from overseas.

Ocean City, NJ -- The Walk for the Wounded returns to Ocean City in two weeks.

The three-mile walk on the Boardwalk to raise money for wounded soldiers returning from overseas takes place on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. The walk begins at 10 a.m. A ceremony honoring the military will be held just prior to the walk start, at 9:30 a.m.

Anyone who raises $50 or more will receive a long sleeve shirt, and all money raised benefits Operation First Response. Children who raise $10 or more will receive a wristband to Gillian’s Wonderland Pier from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The Tidal Wave Band will perform from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
