What's Happening In Ocean City This Labor Day Weekend?

Ocean City, NJ -- September is here, and school is in next week.
After finishing Back to School shopping and before the kids head off to school, there's still one more chance for the family to hit Ocean City.
Monday is Labor Day, and anyone who heads down the shore early can still get in a four-day weekend, weather forecast notwithstanding.

There's always the Ocean City Pops tribute to "Star Wars" theme composer John Williams Sunday night at the Music Pier.
There's also these events taking place this weekend, according to Ocean City Public Relations Director Mark Soifer:
Sept. 3: The 25th Annual Ocean City High School Field Hockey Alumni Game will be held at the Intermediate School Field, 20th and Haven Avenue, at 10 a.m. The game is followed by a family and team breakfast. Sept. 5: Ocean City Labor Day Race: 5-mile beach run, one mile fun run/walk. $20 pre-registration, $25 Race Day. ($10 for 14 years and younger.) Benefits Ocean City recreation scholarships and programs. Register www.ocnj.us/Race-Events. For more information, call 609-398-6900.
