Which Ocean City Beaches Will Be Guarded In September?

Ocean City, NJ -- Summer is almost over, and children throughout New Jersey will be back in school this week.

Labor Day Weekend is over, but with a swim ban in effect in Ocean City due to the threat of Hermine, some beachgoers may have been left unfulfilled. One more trip to the beach; that's all they ask.

It's a reasonable request, but anyone heading down to take a dip in the ocean should check here first to see which beaches the Ocean City Beach Patrol will be guarding in September.

The following beaches will be guarded between Sept. 6 and Sept. 18, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekends:

  • St. Charles Place
  • Brighton Place
  • 8th Street
  • 9th Street
  • 11th Street
  • 12th Street
  • 34th Street
  • 58th Street

The Ocean City Beach Patrol strongly urges bathers to swim only at guarded beaches.
