4 Coca Cola Scholars Semifinalists from Bergen County Academies
BCA Celebrates 4 Outstanding Students

The Bergen County Academies, in Hackensack, NJ, is proud to announce that four seniors have been named 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Semifinalists. The Semifinalists from Bergen County Academies are; Chloe Cho of Englewood Cliffs, Jonathan Plavnick of Ramsey, Christine Seo of Old Tappan, and Isabella Zelaya Alves of Rutherford, New Jersey. Only 1,336 Semifinalists were chosen among more than 105,000 applicants this year because of their outstanding leadership, academic achievements, and dedication to their community.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States. With the addition of the 37th class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 7,050 Coke Scholars nationwide with over $87 million in scholarships since 1986.
Principal Russell Davis said, “To have one Semifinalist for this prestigious award is commendable but to have four students reach the semifinalist level is amazing. My congratulations to these four talented and dedicated students. We are very proud of them.”

Following further review, 250 Semifinalists will advance as Regional Finalists, with 150 being named Coca-Cola Scholars and receiving a $20,000 college scholarship.
